First Impressions Community Exchange (FICE) is coming to Alberta in 2008 and your community can be one of the first to benefit from this community development initiative. Information on how your community can apply to participate in an exchange is below.

FICE helps communities learn about existing strengths and shortcomings as seen through the eyes of a first time visitor.

Thank you for your interest. Many AUMA members have submitted letters of intent to apply for the program. If your community has sent in a letter, please complete the following steps:

1. Seek out organizations in the community that can support the municipality in conducting an exchange through contributing resources or volunteers to the exchange and/or who can work with the municipality to help implement recommendations resulting from exchange. Letters of support from community organizations are key to the application process.
2. Complete and send in the Community Readiness Assessment and Application Form by Wednesday, March 26 to:
